Appraisal Specialist

The Appraisal Specialist will be held accountable for the following:

Residential Appraisal Ordering: Process requests to order appraisals for 1-4 Family properties from bank personnel over the Collateral360 software.

Commercial Appraisal Ordering: Process commercial appraisal orders over the Collateral360 software.

Complete invoices as needed and complete Collateral360 documentation when appraisal is received.  Distribute report over the Collateral360 system. Coordinate and facilitate the efficient ordering and reviewing of residential and commercial appraisals for various loans which the Bank is processing.  Effectively work with other Bank departments and with appraisal firms in order to obtain timely and appropriate appraisal reports and also appraisal reviews for these reports.  Also assist in the completion of various invoices and other accounting documentation as needed.      

Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is required; 2-year college degree is preferred.  Credit loan support and/or loan processing or reporting experience in the banking or finance industry is also strongly preferred.  Must be a self-starter with good written and verbal communication skills and be diplomatic and tactful in handling the customers of the bank and have the ability to interact positively with other members of the Relationship Team.  Computer experience needed in Excel, Microsoft Word, and Windows.
